Lilah Visits

Over the summer Lilah came to visit to give mom and dad a break.  She loves playing with all of the toys Gma kept. We took nature walks around the yard, used the pinecone picker upper, made caves, walked on the trail, and had loads of fun.

 

 

 

Tyler and Lauren go rafting..................

 Tyler and Lauren and some friends rafted near Moab and had a lot of fun.  We love the Moab area and try to go every couple of years.  This was for Tyler's birthday - Aug 28......he turned 34.

More fun with Lilah.....................

 Lilah came to visit for a couple of days and we were able to do alot of activities.  She loved going to the golf course, checking out the farmer's market, fishing at Palmer Lake, and taking a walk around Palmer Lake and going to parks.  We love having her visit us and are loving the grandparent role.  These photos are from Aug/Sept. I think

Tucker Gray has arrived............

 

Tucker Gray arrived on Aug. 4, 2020........his big sissy was not able to meet him at the hospital due to Covid.  Auntie Mere stayed with her in Golden until mom and dad came home on the 6th. Gma then went up and helped out for a few days.  He is well loved and is perfect.  Wt. 8 lb. 11 oz. Ht. 20.5 inches. He's a great eater and sleeper!

Gma Southward ....................

Sadly we lost Grandma/Mom on Aug. 3, 2020.  We hadn't been able to be in her facility with her due to the pandemic but we were allowed to be with her for her final 5 days.  We said our goodbyes and will forever miss her.  She loved life, loved adventure, and loved her family.  She taught us all so much.  Dorothy Ann Southward 8/25/1925 - 8/3/2020.  'I never thought I'd live this long'
 

More Lilah, potty training, prego Val

 These pics are from June. Lilah is totally potty trained and has to go when she has to go.  Mommy had to tell her about an occasional 'splash' if she pooped in the potty.  She loves 'hot cocoa' by the fire with marshmellows. We tried to have her visit with GG as much as we could.

Playing with 'Basil'......Gma's baby doll that is probably over 60 yrs old.
