Halloween Oct. 2021 - Under the Sea !

 Delilah watched the Little Mermaid one time and became obsessed with it.  All of us dressed up as characters in the movie.  Tucker was a crab, Lilah was Ariel of course, Val was Ursula, Eric was Prince Eric, Arn was King Triton, and I was a shark.  Trick or treating was short and sweet due to the temp outside.  Back at Val and Eric's house we had chili and watched Lilah enjoy her candy before giving it to the Switch Witch (trades it in for a toy).

Halloween 2019

It was a quiet Halloween this year. Our good neighbors behind us have moved and they are usually our only trick or treaters.  I bought some candy just in case they stopped by and they did but not on that evening.  Lilah really got into it this year and I helped Val make part of their costumes.  She and Eric were echineaca flowers and Lilah was a butterfly.  Valerie asked Lilah the next morning what she wanted for breakfast and she said 'candy' !!

Halloween 2018

Arn and I didn't go to a costume party this year.............we have a grandkid!  We took off to Denver and went with Val and Lilah (Eric may have had class or was pheasant hunting) to Old Town Arvada for trick or treating.  Lilah liked the activity........Grampy liked her treats.  She was a spider and Val made the costume.  I wish I would have saved the many costumes I made as the kids were growing up.

Finished Project / Halloween 2017

I've been saving Halloween fabric for years and finally finished up a quilt as you go strip table runner.  Wow, can you say procrastination!  Halloween was quiet this year  We again only had the 5 kids who live behind us come to the door.  The senior center had a party for the seniors so Gma and I dressed up.  They had lunch, door prizes, and lots of games.

We went to a Halloween party this year and the Monument Hill Band got back together for the occasion.  It was a good time even though some people had no clue about the Scarlett Letter and Hester Prynne.

Last minute costumes without much planning happened this year. I used Mere's lobster outfit and Arn used Tyler's pirate costume. We went to the party at the club and had a fun time. The band was good and played lots of oldies. Arn wanted to hit O'Malley's on Sat. night so he could sing Buffet's pirate song but their party isn't until tonight. Hoping for a few Trick or Treaters tonight! The weather should be good, we usually get snow but it should be in the 50's.
