Snow Hiking with Lilah at Fox Run Park - Jan 2021

Arn, Lilah, and myself went for a snow hike at Fox Run Park and it was fun to see it thru a 3 year old's eyes.  We found log houses, made snow angels, rolled down a hill, snacked, and had hot cocoa with marshmellows when we got back home.

Ist Snow of the Season

Today is the first snow of the season.  Temp 45 degrees.  It sure is a difference from yesterday when I was playing golf.  Hopefully we'll have a good 'snow' season this year.

Grandma goes on a snow walk...............

We had a good snow last week (11 inches).  I went cross country skiing in the neighborhood one day for about an hr. and 45 min. and then Arn and I went over to the golf course for about 1 1/2 hr.  After getting the driveway all shoveled I took Mom on a short snow walk to fill the bird feeders.  She really enjoyed getting out in the snow.

After the Storm

Hopefully we had the last snowstorm of the season these past couple of days. I'm not sure how much snow dropped but we shoveled out 3 times before it was over. Spring snow is so wet and heavy but we really need the moisture. I got out my snowshoes today and we headed over to Fox Run Park . The day was beautiful!

Snow Day!

We finally had a good snow storm a week or so ago (3/28). It dropped about 12 inches (24 in. were predicted). The day after the storm was beautiful, a bluebird day! Stacy, Bryan, Mason, and Catie Bea came up and we headed to Toboggan Hill. We had lots of fun making the snowman, sledding, tubing, and making a fort. Hope we get a couple of more good storms this month.
