December 2021

 December was a busy month and everyone came and went at different times.  We had warm weather into December and were able to continue playing golf.  Arn made pasta, we baked and decorated cookies, and we put up our tree right after Thanksgiving since the weather was so nice (to cut it down) I got crafty and made some Christmas gifts for the kids. It was a different but nice celebration.

I guess I forgot to take pictures this year for Christmas.  Tyler and Lauren were here for Christmas Eve and early Christmas day.........the Carr's came on Christmas afternoon and spent the 26th also.........and Meredith and Tim came on the 26th (Mere had to work on the 24th and 25th).  Even thought things were split up we had a great time.

Valerie and Eric hosted the cookie party this year and we all enjoyed decorating lots of cookies.  Lilah 'just couldn't stop eating them'....We ended up with lots of beautiful , meaningful cookies and had appetizers and soup.

Family Christmas 2019

Christmas was wonderful this past year.  We had some excitement just as everyone arrived on Christmas eve........I fell, hit my head on the corner of a small chest and had to head to the emergency room for 10 staples.......no pain, no headache, no change in LOC...........the rest of that evening was lots of fun and the next day too.........it took Lilah all day to open her gifts.  She and I opened one together in the afternoon and we all found out that Valerie and Eric are expecting again in July!

Christmas Bingo Family Night with Gma

We've had an annual Christmas Carol Party for the past several years that has worked out very well.  We invite friends and have lots of food and fun.  Arn practices and prints out carols for everyone.  It's been a success and gets everyone into the holiday spirit and makes us get the house decorated and ready for the season.
