Snow play................

This has been a great year for snow!  We've been able to cross country ski about 11 times and downhill about 20 times.  Last year we didn't have enough snow to go at all.  The golf course was groomed daily and we also made a track in the back yard and surrounding lots. Lilah loves her sled and wants to be outside as much as possible.

In February, Mike and Joy along with Kelly and Meghan came out to ski at Keystone.  Meredith was able to come up and ski one day and Val, Eric and Lilah were also able to come up and spend the night and ski.  I was able to watch Lilah all day so mom and dad could ski.  She really enjoyed being out and about in her sled.  She loves the snow and being outside.

I'm not sure why I don't take enough pics at Christmas.......Eric says to Enjoy the Moment.
Lilah enjoyed getting lots of new toys, we did the Santa Steal game on Christmas Eve, enjoyed apps and ciopinno, and played games.  Arn prepared a great prime rib along with stuffed shrimp. Mere and Lauren each made a delicious flourless chocolate cake.....one for eve, and one for Christmas Day.   It turned out to be a great Christmas.

 Thanksgiving was nice this year. Lilah enjoyed all of the activity and new foods.  Everybody enjoyed Lilah and the fire pit too.  Everybody contributed to the meal which makes it easier for us.  Every year we try something different with the turkey.  This year it was in a roaster.  Next year we may try the grill or an air fryer.

Halloween 2018

Arn and I didn't go to a costume party this year.............we have a grandkid!  We took off to Denver and went with Val and Lilah (Eric may have had class or was pheasant hunting) to Old Town Arvada for trick or treating.  Lilah liked the activity........Grampy liked her treats.  She was a spider and Val made the costume.  I wish I would have saved the many costumes I made as the kids were growing up.
