Roya's Bridal Shower
In April I got away for a weekend for Roya's bridal shower in Georgia. Lisa did a great job (wonderful speech) and the location was beautiful. It was held at the Ritz Carlton in the garden and the weather was perfect. Beautiful flowers, decorations, setting, food, and activities were enjoyed. The theme was Parisian and there was a caricature artist, a photo booth, live garden music and just a wonderful afternoon. Stacy was able to work it out to that she could join us before returning to Colorado.

Knee Repair - 3/27/19
Arn finally got his knee fixed - a partial right medial repair. He did very well with the recovery and was back to playing golf within a month. It's nice now when we hike because he doesn't have the pain going down an incline. He was a pretty good patient..............cancelled his home PT, didn't hardly any pain meds, worried about the pain ball, didn't use a walker at all, and wanted to walk 3 miles the first time on a walk in the neighborhood.

Ski Season 2019
We got alot of ski days this year and the snow was wonderful. We went cross country skiing about 11 days and 20 days downhill. We had the Epic Summit Value pass and mainly skied at Keystone and Breck with a couple of days at A Basin. Next year we bought the Ikon pass so we'll be at Copper, Winterpark, Snowmass. We want to get to Steamboat and Utah also.
This past season we skied about once a week and skied with Laurie and Per. We also checked out alot of great lunch and happy hour places on the way home. We had two days when we couldn't get to the mountains due to traffic or avalanches.

Snow play................
This has been a great year for snow! We've been able to cross country ski about 11 times and downhill about 20 times. Last year we didn't have enough snow to go at all. The golf course was groomed daily and we also made a track in the back yard and surrounding lots. Lilah loves her sled and wants to be outside as much as possible.

Keystone with the Dougans Feb 2019
In February, Mike and Joy along with Kelly and Meghan came out to ski at Keystone. Meredith was able to come up and ski one day and Val, Eric and Lilah were also able to come up and spend the night and ski. I was able to watch Lilah all day so mom and dad could ski. She really enjoyed being out and about in her sled. She loves the snow and being outside.
