Halloween 2019

It was a quiet Halloween this year. Our good neighbors behind us have moved and they are usually our only trick or treaters.  I bought some candy just in case they stopped by and they did but not on that evening.  Lilah really got into it this year and I helped Val make part of their costumes.  She and Eric were echineaca flowers and Lilah was a butterfly.  Valerie asked Lilah the next morning what she wanted for breakfast and she said 'candy' !!

Out with Gma

On a beautiful day in October Stacy took Grandma over to Palmer Lake for some fresh air.  She really enjoyed getting out and spending some time together.

October November Hikes

We had Clyde for a few days while Mere and Tim went to Mexico so we did some hiking close to home.  Monument Preserve allows dogs off leash so we usually take him there to work off some energy and get some exercise.  The trails aren't marked but you can't really get lost and we have our favorite loops.

Delilah June turns 2!! November 13, 2019

 

Lilah turned 2 on November 13th.....We had a taco bar and the birthday gifts centered around a kitchen and cooking.  I made her an apron and we gave her a table and chairs.  The kitchen was a big hit and she received lots of play food gift sets.  There will be many of hours of playing with all of these gifts!

ZBT Reunion 2019

In October 2019 we were able to make it to Pittsburgh for Arn's frat reunion....we golfed, ate, talked, drank, and enjoyed our time there. Joy and I made it to the Phipps Conservatory one day while the guys were golfing.  What a treat! After the reunion we spent a couple of days with Matt and Tiffany and were able to see the Messinas, Arlene, and Nick and the kids.  We sure wish we could see everyone more often.  We also make a trip to Delallo's and tried to bring back as much as we could in our luggage.

Hiking with Lilah .......Fall 2019, 20 months old

 

 

Meredith, Valerie, Lilah, and I took a hike on a beautiful day with Clyde at Lovell Gulch in Woodland Park.  Lilah enjoyed her back pack and loves oat bars.  She did really well and we were able to go almost 5 miles.  All in all a very enjoyable day followed by brunch at The Pantry in Green Mountain Falls.
