A Snow Hike on A Bluebird Day

We finally got some snow - about 8-10 inches I think. Arn, Mag and I took off to Spruce Mt.(5.5 mi. total) for another snow hike yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful and a light wind jacket was enough. We saw about 20 people on the trail (cross county, snowshoes, sledders, and hikers). The trail was pretty packed down on the way up to the top but the top loop was a workout beause of all the snow. Hopefully we burned a few more calories due to the snow.

Loved the snow on the trees and the icicles forming as the snow melted.
Notice the unpacked trail.
Arn made a snow angel off the side of the trail. Of course Maggie wanted to walk all over it!

Looking out from the top of Spruce Mt. out toward Ben Lomond, Mt. Herman, and Pikes Peak off in the distance.
