What a nice location for your ranch. Look closely at the left lower side of the mountain. It's all secluded and they have their own mt. in the backyard! 
A week or so ago the weather was so nice we decided to hike Spruce Mt. but alter the route a little. We went around the north side of the area and up the service road at the back of the mt. It was a really nice day but the whole service road was in the shade so it was icy, slippery, packed snow and ice. I wanted to try to get to the top of a small peak just to the north but evidently it is privately owned. We hiked about the same amt. of miles but I don't think we'd go that way again because we missed many of the views.
